AIIMS PG January 2019 result announced; Counselling to commence from Nov 29

All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has announced AIIMS PG 2019 result for January session in the form of merit list. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam can check their individual percentile by log-in to their account using applicant login details. Also, candidates whose names are missing from the merit list can check their score on or after November 26 in online mode.

Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam will be called for counselling which will commence from November 29. Based on the performance in the entrance exam candidates will be offered admission to 497 MD/MS and 15 MDS seats in seven institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.

  • Click on the link provided below
  • A separate rank-wise and roll number-wise merit list has been prepared by AIIMS
  • Search your roll number in the rank list to know the result

What will merit list carry?

The rank-wise merit list of AIMS PG 2019 will carry following details:

  • Candidate‚Äôs roll number
  • Category
  • Category rank
  • Over all rank
  • Percentile

According to the official figures, a total of 3,007 candidates are eligible for counselling of MD/MS/DM (6 years)/MCh (6 years) courses. While 89 candidates are eligible for counselling of MDS courses.

When will counselling commence?

The counselling of AIMS PG 2019 will commence from November 29, 2018. The mock round of counselling will be held first for the candidates to get an idea about their chances of admission in the desired college. There will be four rounds of counselling including a spot round. The three rounds of counselling will be held in online mode, while the spot round will be conducted offline at AIIMS, New Delhi campus. To participate in the counselling candidates will have to register first in online mode. Based on their preferences, filled during registration, overall rank and availability of seats admission will be offered to the candidates.
