AMU Cancelled Class 10th and 12th Examinations 2020

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has cancelled Class 10th and Class 12th examinations that were scheduled to be held from July 6 to 9, 2020. AMU Class 12th and 10th pending examinations have been cancelled after a revised date sheet was shared on June 17. On Thursday, the pending examinations of CBSE Baord Class 10th and 12th were cancelled.

The decision to cancel AMU Class 10th and 12th examinations came a day after cancellation of CBSE board exams 2020. The Controller of Examinations, AMU will now be declaring results for Class 10th and 12th in the coming weeks. Know here all about cancelled AMU Class 10th and 12th examinations 2020.

Why AMU Class 10th and 12th examinations were cancelled?

The examinations of AMU Class 10th and 12th have been cancelled after CBSE and CICSE examinations were cancelled following the order of Supreme Cpurt of India. The official notification released by AMU in this regard is as under:

The University had scheduled the leftover Board Examinations of Class X and Class XII for the session 2019-20 in the month of July, 2020.

However, in light of continued COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of leftover exams of CBSE/CISCE as per directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the following is being notified that Leftover Examinations for classes X and XII which were scheduled from 6th July to 9th July, 2020 stand cancelled.

When will the results of AMU Class 10th and Class 12th be declared?

The exact date of AMU Class 12th and 10th results 2020 has not been notified yet. However, the AMU BSE class 10th and 12th results 2020 are expected to be out in the third week of July 2020. The Controller of Examination, AMU will soon notify the AMU results date 2020 for Class 10th and 12th.

How will the evaluation of AMU Class 10th and 12th examinations will be done?

AMU Controller of Examinations informs that the results of Class 10th and 12th is likely to be assessed on the basis of internal examinations. However, the unievsity stated, “The assessment scheme and other details to assess the performance of students in the cancelled examinations will be as decided by the Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education, Aligarh Muslim University.”

It is likely that AMU BS SSE will be considering internal marks of pending examinations and, marks obtained by candidates in already conducted examinations.
