NEW DELHI : CAT 2018 slot 2 concluded with the candidates finding the quantitative ability section difficult as compared to others. Most of the candidates who appeared for CAT 2018 found the entrance exam moderately difficult. The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta conducted the exam in two slots in online mode. The second slot ended at 5:30 P.M and students started pouring out as the anxious parents waited outside the CAT 2018 exam centres.

First and foremost, candidates did not face any technical glitch during the second session of CAT 2018. Irrespective of the fact whether, the candidate was appearing for CAT 2018 for the first or second time, whether they took coaching or not, most of the candidates found the quantitative section difficult. The students found the English section as the easiest. while logical reasoning and data interpretation was moderately difficult. IIM, Calcutta is likely to release the answer key within a week’s time after the conclusion of CAT 2018. Candidates will get an option to challenge the CAT 2018 answer key if they feel that there are any discrepancies in it. By going through the CAT 2018 answer key, candidates will be able to assess their performance in the exam.

Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted every year for admission to different post graduate level management programmes that are offered in different IIMs across the country.
