CBSE Contemplates Changes in date sheet of Class 10 & 12 Board

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education is pondering over the fact to bring about changes in the date sheet of 2019 board exams as the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) will also be conducted during multiple days from January 6 to January 20. In wake of JEE 2019 being held  during this period, CBSE is thinking to increase the duration during which the practical exams would be conducted. The board is mulling over this change since a large number of students will probably appear in JEE 2019- January session.

Dates related to Practicals

Normally CBSE releases the date sheet for the practicals in the second week of December.  CBSE ensures that the schools get sufficient time to conduct the practicals as these marks are submitted to the board. Meanwhile, till 2018, the practical exams were normally conducted sometime from January 15 to February 25. However, in all probability the dates for practical exam will change  so that the students who will be appearing for the JEE Main 2019 exam for the January session do not face any problem.
