The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the CBSE results 2020 on the basis of internal marks of the remaining examinations. On June 25, CBSE informed the Supreme Court that the pending examinations of CBSE Class 10th and 12th have been cancelled considering the health risk amidst Coronavirus Pandemic.

When will CBSE results 2020 be declared?

According to CBSE official, now the results of CBSE board will be declared on July 15 for both Class 10th and 12th. CBSE also stated that it is considering conducting the remaining examination at a later stage if students opt-in. However, SC asked CBSE to give a timeline of CBSE result 2020 announcement.

Will exams of CBSE Class 12th examinations 2020 be conducted?

As per CBSE, if students opt to appear for the remaining papers, then it will conduct Class 12th examinations at a later stage.
According to Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta, “As soon as conditions will be conducive, we could conduct the CBSE class 12 examinations for students who opt for it.”

How CBSE cancelled examinations 2020?

Earlier, CBSE had scheduled the remaining examinations from July 1 to 15 for Class 10th and 12th. However, parents of some students have filed a plea in SC stating concerns of exposing their children to Coronavirus if the exams were held according to the revised CBSE datesheet 2020.
Thereafter, SC has asked CBSE to consider cancelling remaining Class 10th and 12th exmainations and declare resulys on the basis of internal exam marks.
