CDS Final Exam I 2018 result announced


The final result of Combined Defence Service (CDS) Exam (I) 2018 has been released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on November 9. Candidates appeared for the entrance exam can check their result on the official website of UPSC. The result has been declared in the form of PDF where qualified candidate’s roll number, and name is given. All the shortlisted and qualified candidates will have to forward the requisite documents to the preferred academy. However,  the marks of individual candidates will be released after completion of complete admission process i.e. after declaration of final result of Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2018. All the qualified candidates candidature is provisional and will undergo a medical examination, and document verification.

According to the official figures recommended by the Commission, 2778, 1720 and 623 have qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy respectively. After the SSB test conducted by Army Head Quarters, the final number of candidates finally qualified will be announced.

The preliminary entrance exam was conducted on February 4 which was followed by SSB interview for the candidates who had qualified for the second round of selection. On the basis of selection process, total 100 candidates have been recommended.

What after result?

Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam will have to forward their certificates, in original along with the photostat attested copies thereof to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters, as per their first choice.
If there is any change in the address, the candidates must informed  the Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters immediately.
