BENGALURU: Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has declared that the entrance exam would be conducted on May 12, 2019. However, the authorities have not announced any other dates for the same. It was on November 29 that the authorities issued a notification about the date for conducting of exam. COMEDK exam will be conducted in computer based mode in different parts of the country.
Eligibility Criteria for COMEDK UGET 2019
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before they start filling the application form of COMEDK 2019:
Minimum Qualifying Marks : Candidates belonging to the general category must secure at least 45% marks in aggregate while those belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka state must score at least 40% in each of Chemistry, Physics and Maths.
Mandatory Subjects in Qualifying Exam: It is compulsory to have Physics and Maths along with along with Chemistry or Biology or Electronics or Computer or Bio-Technology as one of the optional subjects.
Details about Qualifying Exam : Candidates must have done their PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent exam which is recognised by a central or state government. It is compulsory for them to have English as their subject in the last two years of their study.
Candidates who are diploma holders, they are not eligible to appear for the exam.
COMEDK UGET 2019 is a state level entrance exam which is conducted every year for admission to undergraduate level engineering programmes that are offered 190 participating colleges in Karnataka.
