Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar is going to organize a workshop (short course)on Sensors and Internet of Things (IoT) from December 16 to 22, 2018. The workshop will conducted at ‘Transit campus-I IIT Ropar, Rupnagar, Punjab). Dr. Narinder Singh, Associate Professor, Chemistry Department, IIT Ropar, Dr. Sushil Mittal from Thapar University, Dr. Akash deep, Scientist, CSIR, Dr. Navneet Kaur from Punjab University to name few will be the keynote speakers at the event.
How to be part of a workshop?
Candidates who wish to be a part of the workshop will have to register themselves. The registration process will commence from December 10 in online mode. What candidates need to be aware about is that they have to pay a requisite amount to register for the course.

What all topics workshop will cover?
The IIT Ropar short course/workshop will cover topics related to Sensors and IoT. Topics like applications of optical sensors, material synthesis and characterization for sensor development, chemo sensor design and mechanism, electrochemical sensors, enzyme array etc will be covered under Sensors. While 1G to 5G Communication, Working principle and location tracking with RFID, IoT for Connected cars etc will be studied under IoT.
