JEE Main Paper 1

The second inning of JEE Main 2019 has commenced. National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the JEE Main April session for Paper 1 from April 8. The Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be held on April 8, 9 10 and 12 where around 12 lakh aspirants are appearing for it.

The authorities are conducting the Paper 1 for the admission to various B.Tech courses offered by IITs. IIITs, GFTIs and other premium institutes in two slots. The forenoon session will start at 9:30 am. While afternoon session will begin at 2:30 pm in completely in computer based mode. Therefore, in total there will be eight sessions i.e., two sessions per day.

According the officials, the entry into the examination hall started at 7:30 AM today forenoon. The last entry into examination hall is till 9:15. Frisking was done by the authorities on all candidates. Paper I of JEE Main 2019 is a 3 hour long entrance exam which carry question from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

On April 7, NTA concluded JEE Main Paper 2 in two sessions- (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). Paper II was held for admission to B.Arch course offered by the participating institutes. The Aptitude and Mathematics was conducted in computer based mode, while drawing section was held in offline mode.

According to the sources, Paper 2 was moderately difficult. However, as compared to the January session, the paper was comparatively easier.
