Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Releases JNVST 2019 application form for class 6 & 9

The application process for Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2019 has been started. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the application form in online mode for the students who wish to get admission to classes 6 and 9 in JNV. The last date to apply for the entrance entrance examination is November 30, 2018. What candidates need to know is that there is no application fees. However, aspirants will have to apply for the entrance examination for JNVST class 6 and JNVST class 9 separately.
The registration process for JNVST is two two steps.
How to register for JNVST 2019?
  • Get register by entering details such as state, block, candidate’s name, date of birth, school name, district name and mobile number.  Candidates need to make sure that they enter all the valid information.
  • Once register, user-id and the password will be generated which need to be used to log in.
  • Upload scanned images of photographs, candidate’s signature, parent’s signature, class fifth certificates in prescribed format and dimension.
  • Submit the application form
Authorities will conduct the JNVST 2019 for class 6 and 9 on April 6 and February 2 respectively. the entrance exam for Class 6 will be held between 11:15 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Saturday. The admit cards for JNVST class 6 will be available from March 1 onward. From 2019, JNVST 2019 for class 6 question paper will carry 80 questions for 100 marks. The test will assess students’ ability in three areas- Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test and Language Test. The result for class 6 entrance exam will be announced by May, 2019.
While, OMR based JNVST 2019 for class 9 will be held on February 2. Candidates will be given 2.5 hours to complete the entrance exam. Students will have to attempt 100 questions which will be of 1 mark each. The question paper will have English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science as the sections. The result of the JNVST 2019 of class 9 will be available in online as well as it will be sent to students through Speed Post and SMS facilities.
