For facilitating skill development training, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed between National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) and BSE Institute Ltd. The MoU signed in the presence of Vijay Sampla, Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment. The MoU was signed by K. Narayan, Managing Director NBCFDC and Ambarsh Dutta, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of BSE Institute Ltd. The training by the skilling partner for the target group of NBCFDC will start in the current financial year at select locations and expanded on a pan India in the coming years.
How will this MoU benefit?
An autonomous corporation under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, NBCFDC under its Skill Development Training Programme (SDTP) scheme will facilitate skill development training to its target group in board conformance to the common norms. This step is taken for upgradation of technical and entrepreneurial skills through Government training institutes and sector skill councils constituted by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship so that eligible members of Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBCs), denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs) and senior citizens may engage in developmental activities by way of self/wage employment.
