NEET 2019 registration to commence from November 1


NEW DELHI, October 24, 2018: The National Testing Agency, the body which will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 for the first time will release the application form for the same on November 1, 2018. The registration process will take place in online mode and the last date for filling the form for the national level medical exam will be November 30.

NEET will be conducted in  offline mode on May 5, 2019 after the request was made by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Earlier in July, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar had announced that NEET would be conducted twice a year in computer based mode. However, lately NTA declared that the exam would be conducted only once in pen and paper based.

What’s New In NEET 2019

It is for the first time that National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam in 2019. Previously the exam was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.

Exam to be conducted in Eight Regional Languages

Apart from English, Hindi and Urdu, NEET 2019 question paper will be held in eight regional languages which are:

  • Assamese
  • Bengali
  • Gujarati
  • Marathi
  • Telugu
  • Oriya
  • Tamil
  • Kannada

Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility for NEET 2019 remains same 

National Testing Agency had categorically mentioned that there would be no change in the syllabus from where questions would be asked in the entrance test. The authorities had also clarified that the exam pattern would also remain the same for the upcoming exam.

There has been no change in the eligibility criteria as of now for appearing in the NEET exam.
