RPF SI CBT 2018 to be held on December 19, check other group exam dates here

Ministry of Railways has announced the dates of RPF SI CBT exam. According to the official notice, for the ongoing railway recruitment for RPF SI and Constable, authorities will be conducting Computer-based test (CBT) on December 19, 2018. Along with the exam dates, authorities has released the complete exam schedule for RPF SI (Railway Protection Force for Sub Inspector) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).

As per the notification, CBT will be conducted group-wise on different dates. On the following dates, candidates applied for different groups will have to appear for the examination:

  • Candidates applied for group E and F- December 19, 2018.
  • Candidates applied for group A and B- January 5 to 6, 2019
  • Candidates applied for C and D- January 9 to 19, 2019.

How will questions paper of RPF SI CBT 2018 look like?

The CBT for different groups will be held at different exam centres across India in 15 different languages. The question paper will carry 120 questions and candidates will be given 90 minutes to answer them. Talking about the marking scheme, every correct answer will be given 1 mark, whereas,1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. There will be graduation level questions asked during the examination.

When will admit card issued?

The admit card of RPF SI 2018 will be released 10 days before the date of entrance exam. Therefore, the admit card of group E and F is expected to be released on December 9. Similarly, RPF SI 2018 admit card for group A and B will be released on December 27, while for group C and D it will be released on December 31.

Why RPF SI 2018?

The entrance exam is conducted by Ministry of Railwaysfor the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) (both male and female) in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. In order to get selected for Sub Inspectors (SI), candidates have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).
