UP Board 2019 Exams to begin late due to Kumbh

ALLAHABAD: The officials of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) have stated that they would prepare the date sheet keeping in mind the Ardh Kumbh which will be held in 2019 at Prayagraj. According to reports in the media, the Ardh Kumbh would commence from January 15 and end on March 4, 2019.

Tentative Schedule for UP Board Exam 2019

Initially, the authorities had planned that the UP Board exam for class X and XII would be completed within a span of 16 days. However, with the Kumbh Mela in the offing, the authorities have clarified that the exam would be conducted so as to avoid any kind of inconvenience.

In the past the exam for the first shift used to begin from 7:30 a.m. However, now the exam would be  from 8:00 a.m. There will be no change in the timing of the exam for the afternoon shift.

Though the date sheet has not been released officially, according to the tentative schedule, the Class X UP board exam will begin from February 7 and end on 28th February, while the Class XII will begin from February 7 and end on March 2. The important dates related to KUmbh Snan are January 15, February 4 and 10, 2019.  The officials are likely to announce the final date sheet of the exam tentatively in first week of December.

UPMSP has also released the syllabus for both Class X and XII board exams. Candidates can download the syllabus from the links that are give below. With he help of the syllabus, candidates would get to know which are the subjects and the topics from which the questions would be asked.

Announcement of UP Board Result 2019

It is likely that the authorities will  announce the result of UP Board on April 30.

About UP Board

UP board is one of the biggest boards  in Asia. In 2018, 66.4 lakh students had registered for the exam. However, owing to stringent measures taken by the authorities, for 2019, around 57.9 lakh students have registered for both Class X and XII exam.
