NEW DELHI: UPSC or Union Public Service Commission has released the admit card of the Combined Defence Services Exam II. Applicants will have to download and print their admit card online till November 11, 2018. The admit card can be downloaded though the online portal of UPSC by entering their registration number and date of birth. UPSC CDS Selection Process
UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination as first stage of the selection process for recruitment of officers in Army, Navy and Airforce. There are a total of three selection procedures that are carried out for selection of candidates. The selection process of UPSC CDS is explained in the points below.
- First stage of selection is online exam to be conducted at exam centres all across the country on November 18, 2018. Those who clear the first stage will proceed to the second stage of selection.
- Second stage of selection is the SSB interview which is meant to test the mental and physical capabilities of the candidate. Those clear the SSB interview will be called for the third and the final stage of selection.
- The third/ final stage is a personal interview where the candidate will be called for a personal interview. Candidates will be required to carry their documents as mentioned in the application form along with themselves for verification.
The CDC Exam II is scheduled to be held on November 18, 2018. Those who successfully clear the exam will be called for SSB Interview. Students will be required to carry their admit cards as well as one photo ID proof such as Aadhar card. Those who fail to bring both of these will be subject to denial of entry to the examination hall.
