XLRI Jamshedpur has released the official notice for the XAT 2019 aspirants regarding the correction window. The exam conducting body has opened the correction window for change in exam test centres. Candidates who wish to modify/change the XAT 2019 exam centre filled in application form till November 30. Authorities will not entertain any change request after the given due date. Candidates need to know that the correction facility will be made available only once. Therefore, it is important to choose it wisely. Applicants will not be charged any fee to request the change in XAT test city preference.
How to use XAT 2019 correction facility to change test city?
To change the exam centre preference, candidates will have to send an email at [email protected]. While sending a mail, the students need to mentioned following details:
- XAT 2019 application ID
- Date of Birth (DoB)
- Name of father
- Previously chosen city
- New preferred city for XAT 2019
Candidates need to note that the new chosen test city should be amongst the ones already listed by XLRI. Therefore, candidates are suggested to check the the list of available test cities before requesting for any changes. The final decision to allocate the test city to each candidate will remains with authority.
What is XAT 2019 for?
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2019 is conducted for admission to management courses offered by XLRI Jamshedpur and other Institutes accepting its score. XAT 2019 will be conducted on January 6, 2019 (Sunday) across 46 test cities across India. According to the reports, this year it is expected that about 90,000 students will appear for the entrance exam. The online exam will be held for three hours.
Other dates to remember
The application process of XAT 2019 will conclude on November 30, while candidates will be issued their admit card on December 20, 2018. The result will be announced tentatively in the fourth week of January.
